Bursting with shades of pink, Celeste and Marcos’s wedding in Scicli was romantic.
The celebration took place in church of San Giovanni Evangelista amazing baroque church, in a hot summer afternoon; setting? a breathtaking sicilian sunset that made romantic and unique everything.
To them, the most important part of planning wedding was making it an atmosphere where everyone present felt loved and invited into the meaning and specialness of that day. Each person invited has contributed to their lives and their relationship in some unique way, and wedding day was a chance to gather them all together and say “thank you!” the best they could. Was important to Celeste and Marco that every day the people around them would feel loved & comfortable being exactly who they are, so the most important day of their lives was no exception.
The Design: If I had to describe their wedding in a few words, I would say it was romantic and elegant.
For the reception, Celeste and Marco wanted a more intimate and formal setting using tall glass jars and lush overflowing blooms.
The touch of sweetness was the protagonist in the wedding tableau: for this original tableau I thought of creating fake cakes and sweets. Each cake was handmade with so much love and passion.
They considered for their friends and family , to have games and photo booths available during the reception hour, to let them request songs they’d like to dance to, and many others. No, this wasn’t an attempt to please everyone , but a chance for them to make this day a lot more special and fun.
